Today, everywhere in the world, going to school is normal for a child.
To educate a child is the first responsibly of a parent, but, in Tibet,
there are many families that cannot afford school.
Tibet is still undeveloped. If we don’t find a solution to
educate the young generation now, then this land will never have development.
The people will become second class citizens of their own land.
In order to stop that risk from the root, we must educate the young generation in
Tibet.

How much is the school fee?
 The
equivalent of one
night's dinner out. Sixty dollars pays for tuition and
books for a student for one year
in a
primary school in
east Tibet. |

night's stay in a hotel. One hundred fifty dollars pays
for tuition and books for a student for one year in middle
school in east Tibet. |
